Everybody has heard of Roblox, but what is Adopt Me? Well, Adopt Me is an online game on the platform Roblox. It is a roleplaying game created by DreamCraft. The game was released in July 2017 and has been played up to 14 billion times. Adopt Me is the most popular game on Roblox.

What is so special about Adopt Me?

There are two types of roles. A player can either be parents who adopt a child or children getting adopted. These were the only two options when the game was first released. More than three years later, the game has changed quite a lot. Now players can adopt and care for virtual pets. The pets are one of the biggest reasons why Adopt Me is so popular. Players have to play the game for a while before earning a pet. Also, it is always a surprise which pet they will get, which makes the game even more addictive. Adopt Me also works with daily rewards, which stimulates players to keep coming back.

Is it safe?

Well, this is a thought question. It seems like there have been digital sex parties on Roblox. A platform that is supposed to be child-friendly. This phenomenon is called condo games. These are games programmed by hackers to get around the filters that protect children from inappropriate content. With these games, they can create naked avatars, simulate sex, and use inappropriate language. Well, Roblox isn’t totally safe. These condo games should normally not be available on Adopt Me; there have been some complaints. Deranda Bordelon was playing Adopt Me with her 8-year-old daughter when somebody took her avatar to a bedroom to simulate sex. Roblox and Adopt Me have reacted that they are investigating these allegations. Although Roblox has certain filters to protect its player, it seems like the platform isn’t safe from hackers. That doesn’t mean that these kinds of things happen all the time. Roblox and Adopt Me are doing everything they can to keep their platform safe and have taken action.
