How does it work?
The games take place in a space-themed setting. Each game can be played with ten people. At the beginning of the game, each player gets a role. You can either be an impostor or a crewmember. The crewmebers each have their own task they need to fulfill, and that while the impostors need to prevent them from succeeding in it. The impostors get a fake task as a cover. The crewmembers need to identify them and eliminate them. Impostors can be eliminated by a plurality vote. Any player can initiate a vote by calling an emergency meeting or reporting a dead body. The crewmembers win if all impostors are identified and eliminated or when all tasks are completed. The impostors win the game when there are as many crewmembers as impostors, or when the sabotage can no longer be undone.

Some say Among Us became so popular due to COVID-19. The game is all about teamwork and gives an opportunity to socialize despite social distancing. Trying to decide who to trust is always tense. Getting away with murder and turning the whole team against an innocent player is always a thrill.

It is much safer for kids to play private games with their friends. This way, they know the people they are playing with, and strangers can’t take advantage of them.
